Lanzarote, vida nocturna

Lanzarote never sleeps!! When the sun goes down the Island transforms itself and welcomes you to enjoy its vibrant nightlife.. In Arrecife, the pubs and music bars in Jose Antonio street come to life and offer someting to suit all ages and tastes. The area known as the Reducto has become a place to meet at night for both people from Lanzarote and visitors. These terrace bars, overlooking the sea, get busy every night of the week creating a special nightime atmosphere. It is worth mentioning a bar which can be found in front of the Cabildo( town hall ) where fun is guaranteed well into the early hours of the morning. Close to San Jose Castle, you will also find a huge disco with spectacular views of the sea.

In Avenida de las Playas in Puerto del Carmen you are guaranteed fun every day of the week. At weekends, el Varadero in Puerto del Carmen is a meeting point for both tourists and residents. This town also has a casino, Casino de Lanzarote, which can be found at nº 12 Avenida de las Playas. Still on this avenue, you will find the Centro Atlántico, an area full of bars, pubs and discos of all styles where people of all ages,local and tourist, meet to have fun.

In Costa Teguise, the main pub area can be found along Avenida Islas Canarias and Avenida Jabillo. This town also has a lively nightlife in a place called the Pueblo Marinero which is near Playa de las Cucharas. Here you will find a wide range of restaurants,bars and pubs, catering for all kinds of tastes in music. At weekends at night, people from Lanzarote and visitors all have fun in the open air at the Pueblo Marinero square.

Another nightime meeting point is the town of Playa Blanca where you will find several places which offer excellent nightlife. The old quarters in Playa Blanca has different kinds of bars where to meet when the sun goes down. There are several centres which are known for their pleasant atmosphere at night such as Papagayo Shopping Centre. Perfect for all ages and all tastes in music. The Rubicón Marina is an area full of bars, cafés and restaurants which transforms at nightime offering unforgetable nights overlooking the sea in an unbeatable ambience.
