Guacimeta Airport- Lanzarote
 Lanzarote airport, also known as Guacimeta airport because of the beach next to it, is situated in the municipality of San Bartolomé, 5 kilometres from the capital. The airport has played an important role in the development of tourism on the island. The airport has a chemist, cafes, restaurants and several shops. It also has a VIP lounge, a passenger service department and offices for the different airlines operating in the airport. The airport has two terminals T1 and T2. T1 deals with both national and international flights while T2 deals with flights between the islands. Both terminals have a taxi rank in arrivals with multimedia information centres. The cooperative of taxi drivers Ajey Tamia has an information and customer service office in arrivals in Terminal 1 in the airport.
